The Northwest Texas SBDC assists Day Nursery during Covid-19
Cynthia Pearson reached out to the Abilene SBDC for help with the Payment Protection Program loan application. Her goal was to obtain funds to allow essential workers to continue to have childcare while working in hospitals, fire and police services, and other agencies protecting us during the pandemic. The SBDC assisted in the completion of the required forms and followed up with other assistance she requested. Cynthia considers the assistance and funding to be "a life saver for the organization and the community."

When COVID hit I received an email from the Salt Lake SBDC that funding was available. Those funds have enabled us to keep all nine of our employees with their full paychecks, and now business is picking up.
