Go West Camps

Local camp directors Andrew and Arianne VanDerWege own and operate Go West Camps. When COVID-19 hit, Pikes Peak SBDC, a longtime community partner, reached out to assist the small business owners in applying for pandemic-related Small Business Administration and local relief funds. "We received an SBA Paycheck Protection Program Loan and an Economic Injury Disaster Loan, both of which will helped us through these difficult times."

Integrity Martial Arts: Staying in Business and Fulfilling Service to Customers

Anticipating the state-mandated closure of non-essential businesses back in the spring, Integrity Martial Arts owner Jonathan Metcalf shifted to serving his customers online immediately. He was able to maintain his customer base and found new opportunities to keep his business growing. CTSBDC was able to help him apply for and receive a PPP loan as well as an EIDL loan and subsequently apply these loans to his business. "Go slow, but don't go backwards," cautioned Metcalf.
